HTC Dream Australia Singapore

HTC unveiled the HTC Dream yesterday for Australia, the phone will be available through Optus through one of four monthly plans starting from $59 AUD per month, plus handset costs. The phone is also headed to Singapore on SingTel networks.

The Dream is the T-Mobile G1, you’ll get the same 3.2 megapixel camera, a 3.2-inch slide-out touchscreen plus a full QWERTY keyboard. It also comes with Wi-Fi and HSDPA for quick downloads.

All the Google goodies such as Gmail, YouTube, and Maps with Street View are included as well just as with the initially released T-Mobile G1.

Pricing and availability for the HTC Dream in SingTel networks will be announced later on, while Optus Australia will offer the device from 16 February 2009.
